Introduction to GDPR for HR
This course led by Kim Bradford will introduce you to the General Data Protection Regulation, and by extension the Data Protection Act 2018, outlining what this law is and why it matters to HR professionals as well as the companies they work for.
You will learn what is the GDPR, why has the law changed, and why does it matter to individuals, companies, and HR professionals or HR analysts? The course also covers how and where you should look to implement changes within your day to day activities. Introduction to Using Python for People Analytics
In this course, you will learn about the basics of using Python and how you can use it for your People Analytics projects. How to Use Python to Automate HR Reporting
In this course you will learn how to use Python in your People Analytics projects and to automate your HR reporting processes. This course will show you how to use Python and Jupyter notebooks to clean, complete, manipulate and visualise HR data. This course will teach you how to get started using Python to clean and manipulate your HR data, to prepare your people data for analysis and to summarise and share your HR data, all in an automated fashion using Python instead of spending hours doing similar work manually using a tool like Excel.

In this Tech Bite Misael will walk you through three practical examples detailing three different types of data visualisation you can carry out. How to use Rstudio to Analyse Text
In this tech bite led by Aditya Maharaja you’ll learn the steps involved in using Rstudio to analyse and visualise your text data. Adi explores how to find occurrences of nouns & adjectives in a corpus as well as how to visualise them in a word network that then allows you present your findings back to your key stakeholders to drive greater business value and change. In this tech bite he walks you through the steps of how to leverage a number of packages such as Udpipe, iGraph, GGraph, GGPLOT2 and others to perform your analysis along side how analyse the sentiment of the text that you’ve been presented with.
How to Use Statistics in your People Analytics Projects
This course led by Ben Teusch provides a practical guide on introducing statistical tests into a people analytics project and the steps to follow when working through your analysis.
The objective of this course is to provide you with some practical insights on how to think through the critical steps of a HR analytics project and to use statistical tests in both Excel and R. On completing this course, you will have a better understanding of how to get started with using statistics in your people analytics projects, and on how to move from Excel to using R for a multiple linear regression model as you learn the skills needed to be a HR analyst.

In this tech bite led by Heather Whiteman you’ll learn how to run multiple linear regression analysis using Excel.
